GiST036: Corpus Christi

1. I sang Panis Angelicus at Mass today. Today was the Feast of the Most Sacred Body and Blood of Christ, and I had the honor of singing Panis Angelicus after communion. I am filled with so much happiness to be able to serve at my church, and am always willing to put on a cassock or warm up my vocal chords, all for the praise of Christ.

2. I read a good amount of The Imitation of Christ. I will write more about this in the coming months, but I just have to say that Thomas á Kempis is a brilliant theologian and filled with spiritual wisdom.

3. The Fiesta ended with a (stressful, hectic) bang! Up until the final minutes of closing night, we were selling hamburgers, hot dogs, curly fries, and corn dogs for half-price. It was definitely hectic, and I learned that I never want to be a short-order cook. It was, however, a blast, since I personally knew everyone that I was working with.

4. St. Peter In The Age Of Conference Calls

5. I am going to be a paid tutor this summer. I meet with my student, if you will, today and we set everything up. This is going to be a good way for me to help her get her website up, teach her the skills needed to do such, as well as earn some money to pay my iPhone bill. I'm glad everything worked out.
