1. I got trained today for Quality Assurance. QAing is actually pretty fun. I basically go through the whole site (depending on what they want me to do) and make sure everything looks and functions correctly in different browsers, different versions of browsers, etc. In essence, I try to break the site. If I don't, the developers win and I win. If I do, they lose.
2. I'm beginning to make my desk mine. I brought in some things today to place on my desk, namely a nameplate with my name and my position on it. It looks bad ass.
3. John is taking over The Überblag. It launches tomorrow, so check him out!
4. I am going to start a blog called Riders En Route. Every week it will feature two articles about two different bus riders. The premise of this blog is that there are a LOT of different flavors of bus riders - from all cultures, religions, nationalities, and social backgrounds - and I think that each of them deserve to tell their story. I spend a LOT of time on the bus (6 hours a day), so I think some of that time could be put to letting people tell their story to the world.
5. The company I work for just hired a new programmer. And we have a lot of things in common. We're both a little nerdy, we don't mind looking at chicks out the office window, and we have a similar type of humor. These next seven weeks are going to be great!
